One way to get there is to start from Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands, go all the way south into The Wetlands, follow the road south to Dun Algaz (54, 72), pass through the tunnel into Loch Modan, and continue going south to the Badlands entry point at (46, 81). Horde: As a Horde player, if you don’t already have the FP at Kargath, reaching Badlands is quite a long walk. Therefore, the easiest way to reach this zone is to fly to Thelsamar in Loch Modan, and from there, follow the path south into Badlands (entry point is at 46, 81). Requirements:Īlliance: As we’ve already mentioned above, in classic WoW there isn’t any FP in Badlands for the Alliance. And finally, you can’t use a flying mount in the classic zones, so for an hour of mining, you won’t be able to gather as much ore as you would in retail. Third of all, the map is different from the retail and some of the monsters in retail aren’t present in the classic Badlands at all. Second of all, the area is not that easy to access, especially for Horde players who haven’t discovered this FP yet. First of all, in WotLK Classic, there is only one flight path (at Kargath), and that’s for Horde only. The WotLK Classic Badlands mining route is pretty similar to the retail Badlands mining route however, there are several major differences. That’s because the area offers high visibility and the terrain is easy to navigate with a ground mount. In WoTLK Classic, Badlands still remains one of the best places for Mithril Ore and Iron Ore mining.
